Your choice should be based on the type of heating system you currently have in your home. Whatever you decide on, we have many attractive heated towel rails to choose between. This is a practical, convenient solution suitable for most bathrooms. It’s easy to connect. Simply plug the lead into the nearest socket to switch the rail on. Our electric towel rails have built-in timer and boost functions for extra energy savings. You can set the timer to start and stop at the times that suit you. You can press the boost manually for faster heating and choose how long you want it switched on.
The great thing about a water-heated towel rail is that it utilises the heat already circulating in your home. You simply connect it to your existing closed water system. During the warmer months of the year, when the water in the heating system does not heat up as much, you might need some help from an electric valve. A water-heated towel rail can also be heated with only electricity. This requires an electric valve. There are two electric valves to choose between. One can be adjusted between 30–60 °C and has a built-in switch. The other option is an Erica electric valve, which can be adjusted between 30–60 °C and has a built-in switch, timer, boost and antifreeze functions. You will also need to buy an extra valve.
